Founder – Sandy Palisch - former fighter jet designer
In 2013, the mom of three boys fell in love with organic soap while vacationing in Breckinridge, Colorado. After her stash of souvenirs ran out, she decided to take matters into her own hands and engineer something organic that created a similar spa-like user experience. “I started researching how it was made and was just fascinated by the chemistry of it all. It really lit up my scientist brain so I decided to use my skills to harness all the goodness of essential oils and organic plant-based ingredients to make Simply Organic Soap for everyone!”
The company officially launched in 2016 and now offers a dozen scents of handcrafted healthy soaps as well as lotion bars, bath bombs and salts.
Today Sandy runs operations with Erin Reilly and some help from her boys; they juggle everything from production and mixology to marketing and sales.
Sandy studies include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business and as well as in-depth Soap Making training earning certifications in Soap Making, GMP, Marketing, Retail & Wholesale.
With a degree in Marketing, Erin is the creative and ‘we should try that!’, adventure-seeking, jumping out of airplanes, Mardi-Gras parade rider of Simply Organic Soap. In fact, she is all about bringing good clean fun to as many people as possible. Erin met Sandy and a few months later, you could find the ladies of Simply Organic Soap at major holiday shows and markets in the DFW area. Erin and her partner have two boys, an engineer and a future basketball coach, they prefer the Simply Organic Soap Man Bar of course.
All Sandy’s boys (hubby included) have engineering degrees as well!
